Ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy. This is a Mumbai based job. Knowing Marathi language is preferred. The candidate needs to be passionate about the sector, drive results, be proactive and design new startegis for Business generation. 

Responsibilities

  • Cold calling, making presentations, meeting senior management and pitching product
  • Screen new clients and working towards closures through various strategies
  • Proposal development, price discovery
  • Developing sales strategies and setting realistic targets
  • Draft marketing strategy , manage marketing budgets and manage marketing plans and promotional campaigns.
  • Network and develop a good working relationship with regulators, state energy authorities, Renewable Energy Associations, etc.
  • Track, evaluate, apply and close Tender based leads
  • Develop and manage channel partners and drive them to deliver Business Goal

Qualifications

  • Masters, MBA, Engineering
  • 3 – 4 years’ prior business development experience in rooftop solar sector is mandatory
  • Strong oral and written English language communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented
  • Salary 4-8 lakhs per annum
  • Candidates having industrial and commercial sector experience is an added advantage

Roles and Responsibilities

– Undertake site visits and electricity bill analysis

– Detailed designing of the plant while considering site conditions, shadow analysis, bills etc

– Structure layouts along with specifications suitable for the plant

– Plant Layout on Auto CAD, shadow analysis in sketchup and generation analysis on PVsyst

– Work out BOM , pricing and proposal

– Work out design and cost estimates for LT and HT customers

-Cable calculations

-Structure weight calculations and design

-Supervise I &C team

– Tender submissions

–  Make Project timeline and execution charts and Submit reports on deal developments and site reports

– Take routine inspection and identify faults if any

– Monitor plants and troubleshooting

-Coordinate with technology/BoM providers

Requirements

– At least 3 years and max 4/5 years of experience in solar rooftop in Maharashtra

-Well versed with English language both written and speaking

-Must have knowledge of net metering and subsidy policies

-Must have designed plants on Auto Cad/Sketchup

-Must have knowledge of using solar design softwares like Helioscope etc

-Knowledge of electrical for designing optimal system as well as civil for structure

-Should know how to read electricity bills (LT and HT) and meter clubbing, meter surrender etc

-Have designed both On-Grid and Off-Grid system

-Aware of general security measures to be implemented while designing and execution
